Stokes Barn is a 19th Century Threshing Barn, that offers comfortable group and budget accommodation at an affordable price, in a scenic location.

The business has now developed to offer activities and package ideas for all kinds of groups looking for somewhere to stay.

The complex can accommodate up to 49 people indoors within 3 separate self-contained units or all units can be hired separately.

The Barn is situated on the Limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge, close to Much Wenlock and set within the grassland fields of the family farm amongst one of the most picturesque areas of Shropshire.

The barn an idea base for exploring Shropshire and its many attractions. We are convenient for the historic market towns of Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. The Ironbridge Gorge, the birthplace of the industrial revolution, and the World Heritage museums are around seven miles away.

Finding Us - View Map
When heading north on the M6 exit at junction 10a, When heading south exit at junction 11. Join the M54 and stay on until junction 6, take the first exit off the round-a-bout above the motorway and continue to follow signs for Much Wenlock. On arrival in Much Wenlock you will be confronted with a T-Junction (you will be facing the Gaskell Arms Hotel) turn right on to the A458 (then follow directions below). When approaching from any other directions Much Wenlock is Half-Way between Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury on the A458.

We are located just ¼ of a mile outside Much Wenlock on the A458 heading TOWARDS Shrewsbury. As you leave Much Wenlock you pass between the National Speed Limits sign (white circle with black diagonal slash) and Stokes Barn is the first left in 50 metres. Pass through the farm yard area and up the lane for 200 metres and you will arrive at Stokes Barn.
