Too Hoots
Mynydd Bodafon, Anglesey. Anglesey, Wales
This stunning, detached barn conversion, situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, has been decorated to the highest standard with oak, slate and stone throughout the property. Able to accommodate large families or groups, the property lies on the north eastern side of the island and is close to many excellent sandy beaches. The historic town of Beaumaris is within easy reach with its castle built by Edward I, Beaumaris Courthouse, a market square ideal for art and craft lovers, and cruises available from the pier. It also has many excellent restaurants, pubs and shops. There are many places of interest to visit while on Anglesey including Plas Newydd, the home of the Marquis of Anglesey (now a National Trust Site), with its fabulous grounds extending along the Menai Strait. At the easternmost point of the island sits Puffin Island, now home to razorbills, guillemots and of course, puffins. To the west of the island lies Trearddur Bay with its Blue Flag beaches, diving, sailing and many coastal walks along the rocky coastline. To the south west there is also Rhosneigr with its open beaches ideal for water sports including windsurfing and kite surfing. With Holyhead so close visitors can look around the Maritime Museum or stroll across the clifftops at Breakwater Country Park. For those with time to venture further afield, a day trip can be taken from Holyhead port to Dublin or alternatively to the mountains of Snowdonia.......
