Aberystwyth north beach is located between the headlands of Aberystwyth Castle and Constitution Hill in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion on Cardigan Bay. It is a sand and shingle beach backed by a colourful crescent of hotels and guest houses and a nicely paved promenade. The water is lovely and clear and there are lifeguards on the beach during the summer holidays. Being west facing you will be treated to beautiful sunsets on Aberystwyth beach. Families are well catered for with boat trips into Cardigan Bay and traditional seaside entertainments such as donkey rides and childrens' games. For the more active there is windsurfing, canoeing and sailing from Aberystwyth beach.
Being close to the town there is no shortage of facilities with toilets, disabled toilets, alfresco cafes and restaurants. There is a promenade and disabled access to the beach plus the added bonus these days of deckchairs for hire.....
