Borth beach is located on the Cardigan Bay coast between the Dyfi estuary and the town of Aberystwyth in the county of Ceredigion, West Wales. The beach is a shingle beach stretching almost three miles to Ynyslas. When the tide recedes however a fine sandy beach is revealed. The beach is popular for swimming, surfing, fishing, and windsailing, ... and for walking the dog out of season. As with most of the beaches on the west coast of Wales the water is clear and of excellent quality (2007). Facilities include toilets and disabled toilets.
