Trearddur Bay beach in the resort of Trearddur is located between Rhoscolyn and Porth Dafarch on Holy Island, Anglesey, North Wales. It is a sandy beach sheltered by rocky headlands, with the added attraction of rock pools to keep the children occupied. The beach has an excellent quality of water (2007) and is popular for paddling, swimming, windsurfing, surfing, canoeing and sailing. The Anglesey Coast Path passes through the beach inviting exploration beyond the headlands. A walk northwards leads to Porthdafarch and the South Stack Lighthouse, or south to Silver Bay and Borthwen beach at Rhoscolyn. Facilities include a slipway on the beach, public toilets, a post office, shops, and a diving shop nearby.....
